Birding Tour

During your stay at Evergreen Lodge you will have 6 full day’s of bird watching with our registered bird guides, they can lead you to the most interesting locations in The Gambia.

DAY ONE
Birding around Tujereng Woods.
13:00pm lunch.
15:00pm birding at Tanji Bird Reserve and Tanji Beach area.


DAY TWO
Abuko Nature Reserve birding the whole morning.
13:00pm lunch break at Lamin Lodge
15:00pm birding at Lamin Rice Field for the rest of the day.


DAY THREE
Drive to Brufut Woods
13:00pm lunch
14:30pm We are going to Kotu Creek and Cycle Track.


DAY FOUR
After an early breakfast we are going to Bonto.
13:00pm Lunch at Sita Joyeh Lodge (Baobab Island)
Afternoon spent at Farasuta Forest.


DAY FIVE
Penyem Community Forest and Wetlands Marakissa.
13:00pm Lunch at Marakissa River Lodge
15:00pm Afternoon birding at Dasilam Wetlands and Sifoe Wetlands for the rest of the day.

DAY SIX
Today heading South of Gambia to Kartong around the old sand mining area and the beach.
13:00pm Lunch at Stala Lodge.
After lunch we take a boat trip on the Allahein River the border of Gambia and Senegal.
